Available Positions

Rite of Passage hires energetic and motivated people who are committed to helping youth. The positions needed throughout the organization include:
- Case Manager - Serves as liaison between referring agency, student athletes and families. Manages the overall treatment plan contributing to the success of student athletes. Facilitates guided group meetings and treatment groups. Provides monthly progress notes to all client managers and keeps all student files up-to-date. Facilitates monthly meetings with client manager and students to review progress. Bachelor’s degree and prior case management or three years experience with juveniles. A four-year college degree in a related field is required.
- Coach Counselors – Primary direct care provider responsible for helping a student meet his or her goals. Coach Counselor’s primary responsibility is to ensure the health, safety, and security of each resident in his/her charge. Always maintains line of sight supervision and acts as physical education coach, group counselor, education assistant, and age appropriate role model. Schedule varies depending on location (7/7; 3/4 4/3 or 3.5/3.5). Previous experience is preferred, not necessary. However, minimum of one year's experience working with youth between ages of 11-18, either on a volunteer basis or in a paid position is required.
- Group Leader: Opportunity for growth from a Coach Counselor position. Use that experience and knowledge you have gained with ROP to advance to new responsibilities. Challenging, yet rewarding position for the serious career minded individual.
- Kitchen Helpers - 40 hour work week, varied hours to cover meal times, previous kitchen experience is a plus, but we will provide training. Food handler’s card required.
- Transport Officer: Responsible for driving a van or bus. 40 hour work week. A weekend day may be required. Current driver’s license required requirement. Part-time on call positions also available.
- Night Watch: Responsible for the overnight supervision of students within assigned living areas.
- Certified Medical Assistant - 40 hour work week, may include weekend or evening hours. Requires previous front and back office experience, injections, vena punctures, administrative duties, filing, etc.
